Studio single. Tangerine Dream's first single. Part 2 has never been never
released on an album. Re-released in Italy in 1975 (PDU Records/EMI Italiana,
Milan/Italy, catalogue no. P.A. 1101) with a different picture sleeve (pictured
below). One of the most sought-after Tangerine Dream singles, it is very
rare. The title 'Ultima Thule' is Latin, and means 'the edge of the world',
which incidentally was the description given to Greenland when it was discovered
by the Vikings in the tenth century. * Released on CD for the first time in the year 2000 (Part 1 only), on the album 'Antique Dreams'. |
